Monitoring hydration of denture adhesives: From functional performance to sensory attributes
"Activation” by saliva is a key concept behind the functionality of denture adhesives. This poster presentation considers three imaging technologies that enable monitoring hydration of denture adhesives under dynamic conditions and unlock new opportunities for exploring the role of hydration in the performance of denture adhesives.
Sensorial attributes of denture fixative and product usage experience
Although the mechanical benefits of denture fixatives are well studied, sensorial attributes which may sometimes reduce patient compliance, are often not measured. The aim of this research is to study the sensorial attributes associated with fixative polymer hydration over time to improve consumer product experience.
