Biotène Dry Mouth Oralbalance Moisturizing Gel^1,2 , Biotene Mouth Spray⁶ and Biotène Dry Mouth Moisturizing Mouthwash^1,3 contain a high concentration of moisturisers and lubricants that provide oral moisturisation.¹ One of these key ingredients is glycerol,¹ which acts by forming chemical bonds with water molecules to moisturise underlying tissue by retaining water in the mouth.

Biotène products have a pH within the range of 6.0–7.8. This helps to maintain a close-to-neutral pH in the mouth, which is a healthier environment for the teeth and oral soft tissues (target normal resting pH 6.3–7.0).^2–4
