Dr. Larry Charleston IV is a neurologist specializing in headache medicine and an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan Medical School. As Chair of the American Headache Society’s Underserved Populations Section, he advocates for equitable care and improved research funding. His work focuses on understanding and reducing disparities in headache management among minority and underserved populations, developing patient-centered strategies to improve outcomes, and addressing the root causes of inequities in pain care.
