Dr. Joel Block is the Willard L. Wood MD Professor and Chief of Rheumatology at Rush Medical School, leading a multidisciplinary team focused on osteoarthritis research—from joint biology and pain physiology to novel therapeutic strategies. A former Editor-in-Chief of Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, he serves on editorial boards and the Boards of Directors for both ACR and OARSI, contributing to current OA treatment guidelines.
