Dr Raymond Dionne
Dr Raymond Dionne is the former Scientific Director of the Intramural Research Program at the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR). His 35-year career at NIH included time as Chief of the Pain and Neurosensory Mechanisms Branch at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) before becoming Scientific Director at NINR.
He has also previously sat on the FDA/ASCPT Analgesic Guidelines Committee and been Chair of the Analgesiology and Headache Section of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
He has an extensive publication record which includes more than 200 clinical trials, original articles, chapters and reviews on analgesic drugs.

Prof L. Stefan Lohmander
Prof L. Stefan Lohmander is emeritus professor at the Department of Clinical Sciences Lund, Orthopaedics, at Lund University and is currently the Chair of the PANDOS (Pain AND Opioids after Surgery) European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Research Group.
He has previously served on the board of directors and as president of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI), and as the editor-in-chief of the journal Osteoarthritis and Cartilage. He has also served on and been the chair of numerous academic advisory boards.
He has an extensive publication record which includes more than 500 scientific publications, receiving more than 47,000 citations.

Prof Lars Arendt-Nielsen is a Founder and Director of the Centre for Sensory-Motor Interaction (SMI) and Professor at Aalborg University, Denmark.
He is an internationally recognised leader in pain research, he has dedicated more than 30 years to advancing pain science, education, and policy, authoring over 900 peer-reviewed publications. As the Former IASP President-Elect and Editor-in-Chief of IASP Press, he has delivered more than 250 keynote lectures worldwide and is a strong advocate for improving the recognition and management of pain.
