What is the Haleon Centre for Human Sciences?

At the Centre for Human Sciences, our mission is to utilise research findings from behavioural, psychological and social sciences, alongside the experience of healthcare practitioners, to support pharmacists and dental professionals to overcome barriers they face in establishing lasting patient behaviour change.

The Centre for Human Sciences is an interdisciplinary collaboration between experts in human sciences and pharmacists and dental professionals. Together, they will work to develop real-world tools and solutions which healthcare practitioners can use to support everyday clinician-patient interactions and offer meaningful change to their patients’ lives.

What is Haleon’s involvement with the Centre for Human Sciences?

The Centre for Human Sciences is an initiative organised and funded by Haleon as part of our commitment to remove barriers to better everyday health.

At Haleon, we have a rich legacy of supporting the everyday health of patients. The Centre for Human Sciences will draw from Haleon's existing expertise, supporting the faculty to work in areas such as pain relief, oral health and wellness. The Centre for Human Sciences shares Haleon's focus on deep human understanding and trusted science. Along with Haleon's experience in everyday health settings such as pharmacies and dental surgeries, this ensures the Centre for Human Sciences and the faculty it assembles are set up for success.

Whilst Haleon funds the initiative, all outputs are backed by research and led by expert faculty groups.
